Eric Favors is an American-born athlete who competes in shot put. He has represented Ireland at two Track and Field World Championships in Budapest and Oregon. He is the holder of both the Indoor and Outdoor Shot Put records along with four national titles. Eric set a new Irish Record of 20.93 meters or 68' 8" in Fleetwood Pennsylvania on April 27, 2024, staking a strong claim for inclusion on the Irish team for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games
